2025 CLEA Awards for Outstanding Clinical and Externship Students: Penn State – Dickinson’s KC Read-Fisher

Each year, the Clinical Legal Education Association invites law schools to nominate students as their Outstanding Clinic Student or Team and Outstanding Externship student. This series includes submissions from law schools celebrating their outstanding students.

CLEA Outstanding Clinic Student: KC Read-Fisher

KC stood out as a dedicated and passionate student, who zealously advocated for all her clients.  KC also worked well in our interdisciplinary setting, partnering with social work interns and pediatric residents.

KC brought her energy to the class seminar and was a very engaged participant. She went above and beyond putting in many extra hours filing an appeal and writing the appellate brief. Her research and writing made big contributions to our clinic.  KC also connected well with her young clients and provided excellent courtroom advocacy.
